What you'll need 1 egg 1/4 cup butter-flavored vegetable shortening 2 tbsp water you will also need parchment paper and cookie cutters. Easy as 1, 2, 3! 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a mixing bowl beat cookie mix, shortening, egg and water for 3 minutes at medium speed; dough should gradually form a soft ball. 2 roll out half the dough to 1/4" thickness on parchment paper cut to fit the baking pan. Cut dough into shapes with cookie cutters, pull excess dough away from cut cookies, and continue process until all dough is used. 3 transfer parchment paper with cookies to baking pan.
