Cooking Instructions:
Baking instructions: simply add: • 2 eggs (or vegan swap)* • ¾ cup maple syrup or honey • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract preheat oven to 350. In a bowl, combine 2 eggs with 3/4 cup maple syrup or honey and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Mix until blended. Pour into one greased and lined 8 inch pan or two 6 inch pans. Bake 25 minutes, or for vegan option, 30 minutes. *for vegan preparation: in a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons freshly ground flax or chia seed and 6 tablespoons of water. (do not use whole chia or flax, freshly ground chia and flax will act as a binder to replace the eggs). Allow water and chia or flax mixture to sit for: 5 minutes, then add to the batter with the remaining ingredients and bake according to package instructions. Alternatively, you can use your favorite vegan egg replacer here.
