[Recipe] Super Granola Mix

This super granola mix makes the perfect snack on the go. Put it in some snack containers and grab one on a hectic morning.  It is loaded with nutrients and is also the perfect way to start your day.  Add it to the top of Greek yogurt and top with berries or add some almond milk and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:

1 stick grass fed butter

1/2 cup honey or 1/2 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter

1 tsp. vanilla

2 cups quick oats

2 cups whole grain flakes cereal or corn flakes cereal

1 cup raisins

1 cup sunflower seeds

1/2 cup flaked coconut (optional)

1/2 cup nuts of your choice

sesame seeds, wheat germ, or lecithin granules (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

Heat margarine, honey, maple syrup, peanut/almond butter and vanilla in a saucepan on medium-low heat.

Mix oats, total, sunflower seeds, raisins, coconut and nuts in a large bowl.

Add heated mixture and stir.

Bake at 325º in a greased pan for 10 minutes.

Allow to fully cool and serve or package for storage.
