Directions 1. Combine spice packet, 3 ounces of tomato paste and 4 cups of water in a large pot. 2. Add 1 pound lean ground beef and work mixture with a fork until beef forms crumbles. 3. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for about 20 minutes. Makes about 12 - 1/2 cup servings. Tip: · do not cover while cooking. · do not brown meat ahead of time. · cooking times may vary depending on desired thickness. · cook thoroughly until at least 160º before serving.
