[Recipe] Spaghetti Squash Pasta

Looking for a quick, easy and delicious recipe the whole family will enjoy?  Spaghetti squash pasta is one of our favorite go to recipes with only 10 minutes of prep time.  It is a great gluten free go to recipe that is sure to be a hit!

INGREDIENTS:

1 spaghetti squash

1 lb ground turkey, chicken or beef

Organic Pasta sauce - with no added sugar

mushrooms (optional)

onions (optional)

garlic (optional)

salt


DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 375

Wash and dry outside of the spaghetti squash and cut in half (lengthwise)

With a spoon scoop out the center seeds of each half of the spaghetti squash

Add 3/4 cup of water to a 9x13 glass baking dish

Place both halves face down in the 9x13 dish

Cook for 30 minutes in the oven

Cook ground turkey, chicken or beef in a skillet (with onion and garlic if desired) until fully cooked. 

Add mushrooms (if desired)

When cooked through, add pasta sauce. Simmer and wait until squash is cooked.

When squash comes out of oven, let it cool for 5-10 minutes

Shred/scrape squash with a fork and add the sauce. Salt as needed.
